About Me

I am an engineer from Texas on a mission to build a better community and to see the world.  I love problem solving but unfortunately my engineering job and hobby of mentoring a high school robotics team keep in indoors and in Houston a majority of the time.  I am now looking for ways to “have it all” by making time to see the world and go on some amazing adventures.  With this blog I hope to accomplish several things but I truly hope this blog will remind me to not let time just go by.  If I want to do something, I need to make it happen and then blog about it so others will get excited about doing the same thing!

  • I want to accomplish a couple of things on this blog:
    • Prove it is possible to travel to some amazing places on a low budget with a full time job
    • Showcase my adventures (both near and far) to provide others with travel inspiration
    • Showcase adventures that are possible for you and your four-legged friend to take together
    • Showcase adventures in my community through my community service projects
    • Document my journey toward financial independence and the freedom to travel full time
